For fun and bonding, my coworkers and I went to a hackathon and won the award for best game concept. Side stroller is about a baby trying to make it big in the city (There was a theme haha). The concept of the game is you have two players playing on the computer at the same time. One person controls the baby while the second player tries to quickly place roads for the baby to go across. My coworker and I won a horror hackathon that had us winning best vive horror game. Our game was called “She Listens.” It consisted of a player in a dimly lit room where they have to find a key to get out. The space is small and is room-scale. Every movement the user makes will make a sound depending on how fast they move. If the user moves too quickly, they will get attacked by a shrieking witch. We made sure there were enough triggers in the game to have the player move quickly such as flickering lights.
